A Honeycomb cutting table can optionally be used when dividing materials. The use of a cutting table reduces back reflections from the work table, which can cause damage to the lower part of the material being cut. Especially in combination with a vacuum table, precise and high-quality cutting can be achieved. The open design also improves the handling of waste that may arise during cutting.
The Honeycomb cutting table exists in two versions: with a honeycomb size of 12.7 mm and 6.4 mm.
The smaller honeycomb structure on the table is suitable for small parts because they remain stable and whole on the table, ensuring that the material is still in focus during processing despite the strong vacuum. Thanks to the smaller structure, small parts also do not fall through the honeycomb. In addition, a cutting table with a small honeycomb size is suitable for cutting very thin materials such as paper or film.
The version of the classic cutting table with a honeycomb size of 12.7 mm is ideal for cutting thicker materials such as plywood. Multiple contact points allow easy machining of larger parts and ensure less backlash from the workbench.
The cutting table is suitable for the Speedy 100, Speedy 300 (also in the vacuum table version), Speedy 360 and Speedy 400 lasers.
